OSU Microscopy Facility
The Oklahoma State University (OSU) Microscopy Facility is a multi-user, shared instrumentation facility for materials research spanning from nanotechnology to biology and medicine. Our analytical capabilities include scanning and transmission electron microscopy, confocal laser scanning microscopy, atomic force microscopy, and X ray diffractometry. We have equipment for sample preparation, and ancillary equipment for X ray detection via electron microscopes.
The Facility offers microscopy support for the research projects by of students, faculty and staff of OSU, as well as outside entities on a fee basis. A full range of services are offered including full service from sample preparation to final imaging, partial service which includes just sample preparation or support service in which the investigator performs the work using OSU Microscopy Facility equipment. Training is done throughout the year on an as-need basis for individuals.
